James Suckling: 92 Points
Plush and fruity with rich black cherries, redcurrants and dark chocolate. A pleasant, medium-bodied merlot with silky, pastry-like tannins on the palate, together with black cherries and black olives. Quite resolved, with fluffy, plummy fruit and a long, delicate finish, showing immediate drinkability. A textbook Merlot, mostly from Marchigue with around 10% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend.
