L'Hoste Description
A blend of 70% Chardonnay & 30% Pinot Noir from the L'Hoste family, a third generation Champagne producer, owning 15 hectares of vines in the heart of Bassuet, a village close to Vitry Le Francois, a place where some of the best Chardonnay in Champagne are being produced on limestone terroirs.
Established in 1970 by John and Suzanne l'Hoste, the business was handed down to their sons Pascal and Dominique, who invest all their passion and determination in the vineyard. Hence the name Champagne L'Hoste Pere et Fils, meaning "Father and sons".
Decanter: 90 Points
Attractive nose of sherbet and verbena. Mouth filing and luscious, hints of plum, forest floor with lovely hint of rounded richness on the palate. Lovely winter aperitif.
