This inviting, chocolaty wine is super-soft in mouthfeel at first, due to a full body and resolved tannins. But the tannins firm up on the finish to reveal a structure that can help it age well. Milk chocolate, blueberries and mint bring a lot of flavor. Blended from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Malbec. Best from 2026.

Perfumed aromas of tile, blackberry, bark, earth and pine needles follow through to a medium body with very fine tannins and a lovely savory finish. The balance and drinkability is really right. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Malbec. First release. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Hora is a powerful, driving wine. Super-ripe black cherry, plum, licorice, rose petal, spice, gravel and incense add to an impression of somber gravitas. Ideally, the aromatics could be more focused, but the 2020 has good palate presence. Even so, all the elements are nicely balanced within the context of the year. There is a bit of edginess at the very end of the finish, but that is pretty much true of all 2020s.
Wine Advocate: 90 Points
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Malbec, the 2020 Hora Red Wine offers attractive aromas of mixed cherries and berries, with coffee-tinged notes in the background. Aged in 60% new French oak, it's medium to full-bodied, streamlined and even Bordeaux-ish in feel, with a smooth, silky texture and gently dusty tannins on the finish.
