Castle Rock Description
This complex, full-bodied wine has aromas of ripe bing cherry, anise and boysenberry jam. On the palate it has rounded tannins, carries note of raspberry, and finishes with a hint of caramel. It provides an excellent accompaniment to grilled chicken, steak or lamb and most pasta dishes.
Our Castle Rock Zinfandel is made from grapes grown in California’s Lodi region, a home to grape cultivation since the 1850’s. Here, the long dry summers and cool moist winters combine with loam soils to provide ideal growing conditions.

This very ripe and full-bodied wine offers an aroma of dried berries and a palate flooded with dried plums, raisins, woodsmoke and black pepper. Mild tannins and a rich, mouthfilling texture give it a broad feel.
