This Cabernet pours as an attractive dark ruby splash, then opens to aromas and flavors of briary blackberry, cassis and red licorice. Long barrel age lends supporting notes of roasted coffee beans, mocha and baking spices. The wine finishes with a plush mouth and just enough ripe tannin to give a sense of warmth and generosity that pairs well with any hearty meats or red sauces.
