Canal’s Family Selection Whiskey Fairy Series 2024 Chapter 3. Barrel No 1456; 124 Proof
An overload of spices and vanilla wafts out of the glass with a hint of dry oak and the high proof adds a tingle to the nose. Orange rind, vanilla bean, oak, and hint of fresh cut grass on the palate. It is full-bodied, but does not drink like a 124 proof whiskey. The lingering finish has strong notes of baking spices; oak and allspice sit on the backend.
