Takara Description
YOKokaichi Kome is a rice-based, single-distillation shochu. This process allows for greater complexity and more influences from the source material. Look for aromas of pear, jasmine rice, delicate white flowers, and rainwater. The palate is more savory with flavors of salted pear, mineral, green olive, and lemon pith.
A great choice for light tapas, such as green olives, thinly sliced Iberico ham, shrimp, grilled chicken breast, Manchego cheese, cod fritters, Marcona almonds, and Tamari snacks. Or drizzle it on top of lobster bisque
