Rittenhouse Description
CFS Series 2022 Chapter 8. Barrel No. 7944755 stored in Rickhouse K, Floor 7 which was barrelled on February 19, 2018. 100 proof.
The first ever Rittenhouse barrel in NJ! We sampled it versus the regular and it is much more dense and flavorful. This is going to be an amazing rye for cocktails since the price point is perfect. The nose is full of fresh orchard fruit and a twist of oak. The palate carries a balance of spiced pear, all spice, oak, vanilla, and grain. The finish is rather dry with oak and nutmeg, and straw being prevalent.
