Jefferson's Description
Our CFS Chapter 2023, Series 4 is our third Jefferson Pritchard Hill Barrel and it may be our favorite! It is Jefferson’s Reserve Kentucky straight bourbon which was aged for an additional 12 months in French Oak Barrel No. 138 that once held Chappellet Pritchard Hill Cabernet Sauvignon.
Our latest CFS pours a deep golden amber color reminiscent of fall sunsets. The nose has strong notes of dark cherry and fruit. It is a sweeter style bourbon with a full-bodied palate exploding with caramel, raisins, jam and a hint of leather. The finish shows the most intense wine flavor withOak, spice and black cherry also coming through. We recommend trying in a rocks glass over a Glencairn. Enjoy!
