Our barrel of Codigo 1530 Reposado Rosa is rested in Napa Valley Cabernet casks then transferred to Spanish Sherry casks, which gives it its beautiful color and depth. The nose is explosive and fragrant with notes of light vanilla and tropical fruit flavors. The flavor of agave is very strong, promising a robust spirit. It is full-bodied, with a hint of coconut, agave, & light caramel. Floral hints, citrus peel, and a hint of oak on the finish where the notes of wine really shine through.
