Experience the ethereal beauty of Caol Ila 11 Year Old - Ambrosial Feast, an unusually unpeated expression that from a distillery normally known for its powerful flavors of smoky peat & citrus fruits. Crafted with short fermentations and cloudy worts, this limited whisky offers an indulgent mouthfeel, rich with nutty character and complemented by vibrant notes of green apple and spice.
Matured for 11 years in a mixture of refill & rejuvenated wine casks, this cask make-up brings out a perfect balance of orchard fruit freshness and spicy warmth. The higher copper contact during distillation, achieved by partly-filling the pot stills, enhances the whisky’s delicate green apple tones, adding a lively brightness to its creamy base.
